The way it works is pretty simple: in the solver mode, you only have to fill in the cells on the board accordingly with the clues you are given. Then, the app will work everything out itself and figure the puzzle out for you. On the other hand, it also lets you create your own puzzles by typing the values in and creating the pattern that has to be solved.
